Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar will be attending the meeting of the Commonwealth Parliamentary
Association at Swaziland Saturday and will use the opportunity to focus on South-South cooperation.
During her six-day stay, Kumar (Speaker of Lower House of Indian Parliament) will meet Swaziland King Mswati III, and is expected to discuss consolidation of five decades of
friendship between the two countries, a Lok Sabha release said.
The Speaker would share developmental experiences as part of India's commitment to South-South cooperation and strengthening of institutional linkages.
West Bengal Assembly Speaker Hashim Abdul Halim, who is the Treasurer of CPA, Bihar Assembly Speaker Uday Narayan Chaudhary and Assam Assembly Speaker Tanka Bahadur Rai would
also attend the CPA Executive Committee meetings.
