The Badminton Association of Ghana (BAG) will go to the polls on Saturday, April 29, at the media center of the Accra Sports Stadium. The Association’s 3rd electoral congress, will see a total of seven (7) candidates vying for the following positions – President, Vice president, Treasurer and the Executive members. According to a statement signed by Ignatius Elletey, the Secretary General of the Badminton Association of Ghana (BAG), the candidates to contest for the various positions are – Evans Kodjo Yeboah – President, Kingsford Nii Otoo – Vice President, Ernest Sakyi- Treasurer, Hon. Quaitoo, H.E Skido Achuku, Frederick Bonsi and Godwin Ntarmah – Executive members. All the above-mentioned candidates are going unopposed for positions. Thirty-Two (32) Delegates from sixteen (16) clubs and eleven (11) National Executives are expected to attend and participate in the congress. Aside the electoral process at the congress, there would be a presentation of Administration and financial reports. Also, there would be a deliberation on the approval of programmes and budget for 2017/18 and finally the congress would discuss and adopt the BAG Constitution
