The Portuguese manager has criticised Pogba several times this season, dropping him from the first XI, and it has been rumoured that the France international is unhappy at the club and would welcome a move in the summer.

Drogba, who played under Mourinho at Chelsea, spoke to Telefoot about his ex-manager's behaviour and played down any suggestion that the two are not getting along.

"It's been hot between us [Drogba and Mourinho]," he said. "But Jose is never going to attack people he does not like. He likes Paul a lot. That's why he's given him a lot of responsibilities."

Manchester United are second in the Premier League table but virtually out of the race for the title, as Manchester City have a 16-points advantage at the top.

However, United still have a chance to lift some silverware this season, as they will face Tottenham on April 21 in the FA Cup semifinal.
