Medeama Sporting Club, is set to redevelop their Tarkwa Na Aboso (TNA) Park into a modern stadium.
The club, unveiled the designs and plans for the redevelopment of the TNA Park, ahead of a ceremonial sod cutting at Tarkwa on Wednesday.
The 10,000-seater capacity fully covered stadium, is estimated at $13 million and funded by Goldfields, Tarkwa-Damang.
The club said, a retractable roof would be added to the stadium, to convert the stadium into an avant-garde architectural icon.
The venue would also feature a complete seating capacity and involved redesigning of the pitch, the VIP seating area, media stands, tickets boot, stadium drainage among others facility development.
Mr Isaac Asiamah - Minister of Youth and Sports, Mireku Duker - Member of Parliament for Tarkwa-Nsuaem, Mr Alfred Baako - Vice President of Goldfields West Africa, Gilbert Asmah Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) and Moses Armah - Medeama President are among top officials expected to grace the sod-cutting ceremony.
