The sixth edition of the annual University Basic Schools Sports Association (UBaSSA) Games has commenced in Accra, with four Basic University Schools participating in football and athletics.
The program, which would run from Tuesday, June 25 to Saturday, June 29, would have University of Ghana Basic School, KNUST Basic School, University of Cape Coast Basic School and University of Mines and Technology Basic School competing in the Primary and Junior High levels in both male and female categories.
The four-day event taking place at the University of Ghana campus at Legon, would see the various schools fighting for honours in high jump, long jump, 400 meters, 100 meters, 4 x 400 meters as well as 200 meters.
The UBaSSA games is aimed at bringing the various University Basic Schools together as they do not partake in the sports organized by the Ghana Education service.
