Legon Cities Football Club head coach, Samuel Kwesi Fabin, believes playing at the Dawu Park has helped his team’s chances of winning games.
Since moving its home games in the Ghana Premier League to the Dawu Park after playing at the Accra Sports Stadium and El-Wak Stadium at some point in the season, Legon Cities are unbeaten.
The team extended its unbeaten run at Dawu after recording 2-0 win over Accra Hearts of Oak with Albert Yeboah scoring a brace.
His opposite number, Aboubakar Ouattara, said Hearts of Oak’s loss could be traced to a rocky preparation for The Phobians due to a blackout and lack of water at the hotel the team lodged in ahead of the game. (Click highlighted text to read full story)
“We’ve not lost since we moved here. The turf is good, I must confess this is a very good turf. When we get a good turf like this, we play very well so the turf has also accounted to our performances off late so I’m happy to play here.”
