Ghana forward Andre Dede Ayew has described the contributions of Matthew Amoah to Dutch Eredivisie club NAC Breda and Ghana’s Black Stars as great.
He said this in an interview with NAC Breda in the presence of Amoah after recently joining the club till the end of the 2025-2026 season.
Amoah works as a coach at Breda after starring for the club in the Eredivisie and with Ghana’s National Men’s Football Team. Amoah played at the 2006 and 2010 FIFA World Cup.
Ayew has played twice for Breda since joining the club earlier this month and paid tribute to Amoah by stating that,
“I think what he has done for this club and what he has done in his career in the national team is great.”

“For me today to be here with him that he knows inside out is only beneficial to have a big brother here because he can guide me, make me…adapt very quickly. For me, it’s all beneficial and I’m very lucky to have him here.”

NAC Breda take on PSV Eindhoven on Saturday, January 24.
