The Black Stars’ all-time leading scorer says his decision comes down to the level of commitment the job demands, something he is not ready to take on at the moment.
Speaking to coaches at the Milo Under-13 Championship at the Essipong Stadium, Gyan explained that his current focus is on business rather than the dugout.
Gyan explained that although he holds a UEFA License B in coaching, he has put his coaching dreams on hold because of the dedication it requires.
“The reason why I haven’t started my coaching thing is all about dedication. When you dedicate yourself to coaching, you will have time for the kids.”

“I have a UEFA License B, but I’m not into coaching because I have other businesses to attend to. Coaching is about dedication, and you have to focus and teach,” Asamoah Gyan said.
