Mr Daniel Bugri Naabu, Founding Member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has commended delegates at the Yunyoo Constituency in the Northern Region, for peacefully electing a parliamentary candidate for the December 7 General election.
"I am happy that the Bimobas, Mamprusi and Konkomba delegates elected John Kweku Alhassan out of four aspirants in peace and unity.
Mr Naabu , who is also an opinion leader from the area, asked the three ethnic groups to continue to display unity of purpose to ensure that Mr Alhassan wrest the parliamentary seat from Mr Abdulai Bochel-Duut of the ruling National Democratic Congress.
He urged the people to vote for the NPP Flag bearer, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo to continue with the party's development track record in the area.
