Ghanaians have been urged to honour their tax obligations regularly to enable the Government to
generate revenue for development.
Mr Joseph Amoako, an opinion leader at Akyem Asamama in the East Akyem Municipality, told the GNA that countries like Britain and the USA are making great progress due to taxes generated from their citizens.
He expressed worry that in Ghana many people evaded payment of taxes through several means such as under-invoicing among others.
Mr Amoako called for a change of attitude among Ghanaians to help the country to develop faster.
