After a period of solo ventures and personal growth, Ghana’s iconic music collective La Même Gang is back with True Colors, an 8-track album that reestablishes their creative synergy.

Featuring all five original members—DarkoVibes, $pacely, RJZ, KiddBlack, and Nxwrth—alongside acclaimed artists like King Promise and Oxlade, the album presents a fresh and cohesive project that fans have long awaited.

Growth and unity

True Colors marks a pivotal moment for La Même Gang, uniting the diverse influences and experiences each member has cultivated over the years.

 From the introspective opener Questions to the love anthem Odo ni Sika and the reflective C’est La Vie, the album traverses a spectrum of moods and styles that highlight each member’s evolution.

 Tracks like Wash My Pain Away delve into resilience and overcoming adversity, while Gang Riddim and Dangerous inject the album with a high-energy pulse that fans of the group will recognize and love.

The journey to True Colors began in 2023 with the release of their Let’s Start a Riot EP, a bold signal of their intention to shake up the industry. 

This year’s full-length album builds on that momentum, showcasing not only the artistic growth of each member but also their commitment to the collective’s core identity.
