Love Island USA had a message for the bombshells at home.
When tuning into the June 24 episode of the Peacock reality series, viewers were greeted with a new message encouraging them to be kind.
"THE KEYWORD IN LOVE ISLAND IS...LOVE,” the message read before the episode kicked off. “WE LOVE OUR FANS. WE LOVE OUR ISLANDERS, WE DON'T LOVE CYBERBULLYING, HARASSMENT OR HATE."
The show also issued a “friendly reminder to our Love Island USA Family” across its official social media platforms.
“We appreciate the fans, the passion for the series, and the amazing group of Islanders who are sharing their summer with us,” the note read. “Please just remember they’re real people so let’s be kind and spread the love!”
As the bombshells entered the villas on season 7, fans have passionately shared their feelings about the contestants in Casa Amor who are looking to end their summer and time on the series in a relationship. However, shocking eliminations of fan favorites Hannah and Jeremiah—leaving the much talked about contestant Huda, also Jeremiah’s ex, safe—has drawn millions of reactions from fans.
In fact, Huda’s ex-boyfriend Noah Sheline spoke out with a public statement of his own, condemning Love Island fans for speaking ill of his ex.
“At the end of the day I hope everyone remembers we’re human,” Noah—who shares a 4-year-old daughter with Huda—wrote on his TikTok June 17. “Her going on that show to find love, or whatever you think it was she’s doing, remember she’s still human, she has a daughter, and a life.”
Host Ariana Madix also urged the fans to “be nice” amid the Islanders quest for love.
“Love Island has the best fans across the entire globe,” Ariana, 40, said during the June 21 Aftersun episode. “Passionate, and I love that. There’s such a great, amazing communal experience when it comes to watching the show, but I do want to say something to some of those people who are online. Don’t be contacting people’s families. Don’t be doxing people. Don’t be going on islanders’ pages and saying rude things.”
“You still have time to delete all of that, because the islanders don’t have their phones,” the Vanderpump Rules alum added. “So we’re giving you a chance. Because this is a fun, amazing, beautiful show, and we should be thanking each one of these islanders every single day for giving us themselves. Be nice. Please be nice, or I’ll come find you.”
