The 84-year-old lifestyle mogul left fans stunned after sharing her bizarre bagel-eating method on Instagram, crediting the unconventional approach to her daughter, Alexis Stewart, 60.

In the December 12 post, Stewart walked followers through a step-by-step guide that involved slicing a bagel into increasingly smaller pieces and topping each bite individually with cream cheese.

“How to eat a bagel!!!!!! Taught years ago by my daughter Alexis Stewart,” Stewart wrote alongside photos of a poppy-seed bagel, cream cheese and a lemon wedge, calling the process “very satisfying.

Fans, however, were far less satisfied.

“I love you but this is straight up boomer diet culture,” slammed one.  “Eat the bagel girl.”

“This is unhinged, Martha,” penned a second.

“Just for this I’m having two bagels,” quipped a third.

And just for good measure another wrote, “Almond mom tips,” referencing the social media culture of moms who abide by super strict diets.

As backlash grew, the domestic doyenne appeared to edit the caption, per Page Six, firing back in all caps: “CAN’T ANYONE TAKE A JOKE?????? YIKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?!!!!”

Love it or loathe it, Stewart once again reminded fans that no one stirs the pot — or slices a bagel — quite like she can.
