Data Link University College (DLUC), on Thursday, conferred degrees on the first batch of 75 under graduates, after the successful completion of their programmes of study, at an impressive ceremony, at the Rotary Centre in Tema.
The new graduates took various courses in Bachelor of Science (B Sc)and Business Administration, with 27 majoring in Accounting; 28 in Banking and Finance; 14 in Human Resource Management; and six in Marketing.
Miss Jennifer Quansah, the only student who had a First Class, also emerged as the Over-all best student in Banking and Finance.
Other award winners were: Mr Prosper Etonam Dusi (Best Student in Accounting); Miss Zeena Jaoude-Abou (Best Student in Human Resource
Management) and Miss Justina Nneka Nwokolo (Best Student in Marketing).

University of Science and Technology, who conferred the degrees on the graduates at the University's maiden Congregation, urged them to apply positively, their acquired knowledge, to help develop the country.
Prof Adarkwa lauded them for trail-blazing the storms in the past four years of their study, to achieve academic feat and excellence in their
various endeavours.
Mr Alex Tettey-Enyo, Minister of Education, whose speech was read for him, urged private institutions to collaborate with the National
Accreditation Board, in its bid to provide broad guidelines, towards the provision of quality education in the country.
Mr Tettey-Enyo pledged government's preparedness to provide a conducive atmosphere and support to enable the private sector to
contribute meaningfully towards quality education.
He commended Data Link University for building a solid foundation at the pre-tertiary level, by providing its students with academic excellence.
Prof Rose Joshua, President of the University, reminded the graduates that, as alumni of the school, they owed it a duty "to go out there as able ambassadors, and make their university proud".
Prof Joshua charged them to "tenaciously shoot for excellence, and pursue everything you do with the spirit of persistence and perseverance, devotion, dedication and doggedness, and with courage and consistency;
and know that we and your parents and sponsors are your biggest cheerleaders."
Mr Ernest Ansah, Founder of DLUC, disclosed that, as part of its growth and expansion programme, the University had acquired a seven-square mile land, along the Tema-Akosombo Road at Doryumu, for the construction of structures for a permanent campus.
Mr Ansah said as an immediate plan, however, the University had acquired four plots of land at Tema Communities One and Six, for the
construction of an ultra-modern campus for executive and professional courses, adding that, the necessary funding for the project, had been
secured for its take-off and completion within 16 months.
Mrs Jo Hasbury, Life Patron of Data Link, advised the new graduates to continue working hard and give back to community and nation, and also, to consider sustainability, as they push ahead in life.
Mrs Ingrid Ansah, Co-founder of the University, who presented the awards to the four deserving students, noted with satisfaction that the underlying philosophy and objectives of the school were geared towards the physical, social, spiritual and mental developments of the students.
Parents, guardians, family members, friends and well-wishers graced the memorable occasion.
