President John Evans Atta Mills has, on behalf of
the Government and people of Ghana, sent a message of goodwill to Muslims who begin the fast of Ramadan on Wednesday.
A statement from the Information Ministry to the Ghana News Agency, signed by Mr John Tia Akologu, Information Minister said, �President Mills wishes all Muslims well in this holy month of fasting and prayed that Almighty Allah will accept their fasting�.
The President admonished all Muslims to remember to pray for �our great nation and seek Allah�s guidance and blessings for all Ghanaians,� the statement said.
The statement finally wished Muslims Ramadan Kareem.
