The Hohoe Municipal Assembly has handed over the
site for works to start on the paving of its main lorry park.
The project, being funded from the District Development Facility (DDF), is to be completed in nine months.
Mr James Adeho, the Deputy Municipal Coordinating Director, appealed to the contractor to deliver a qualitative work and give value for money as anything short of this would amount to causing financial loss to the Assembly donors and the State.
Mr John Morkli, the Managing Director of the construction firm, pledged to deliver on schedule and execute the job to the specification and
satisfaction of all stakeholders.
He appealed to transport unions to exercise decorum and maximum restraint on the improvised loading joints and avoid congestions on the main road.
