Three people have appeared before the Adjabeng Magistrate�s Court Two, in Accra, for allegedly conspiring to steal three lap top computers valued at GH�5,000.
They are Christian Yankey, 21, Richard Barnes, 24, and Kwabena Asi, 22.
They all pleaded not guilty and were each granted bail of GH�2,000 with one surety to re-appear on November 9.
In the dock with them was Richmond Yankey, 27, who also pleaded not guilty to aiding and abetting.
He was also granted bail of GH�3,000 with one surety and would also re-appear on November 9.
Prosecuting, Police Inspector Worae Douglas, told the court that Yankey was an employee of Vision Art Publicity Services and while on duty, Barnes visited him.
They therefore hatched a plan to steal One Toshiba laptop computer valued at GH�1,200 and two HP Laptop computers valued at GH�3,800.
Barnes went to Agona Odobeng to inform Asi about the plan and he expressed interest.
Inspector Douglas said after a number of unsuccessful attempts they manage to steal the computers on October 3, and after a search in their rooms the items were retrieved.
