Missionary of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission, on Tuesday, urged Ghanaians to co-exist peacefully irrespective of their religious beliefs, in order to move the nation forward.
Maulvi Haq, who made the call during the celebration of Eid-Ul-Adha (Festival of Sacrifice), said the followers of the three great religions, Christianity, Islam and Judaism, must bury their differences, and pursue the cause of peace, harmony and love.
He reminded Muslims that the lesson of the Festival is for them to always gird their loins, and be ever prepared to make sacrifices for the
improvement of the lives of the ordinary Ghanaian.
At the Tema Sports Stadium where the Orthodox Muslims converged for prayers, Alhaji Adam Abubakar, Acting Metropolitan Chief Imam, who led them, stressed the need for Muslims to use the occasion to renew their faith in Allah.
