Mr Theophilus Tetteh Chaie, Member of Parliament (MP) for Ablekuma Central, has called on stakeholders to work towards creating a conducive environment to ensure quality education in the country.
He said if all stakeholders did what was expected of them by providing the needed facilities, half of the country's educational problems would be solved.
Mr Chaie said this at the 39th graduation ceremony of the Ashley's Business College at the weekend where 152 graduates received certificates.
He expressed government's preparedness to collaborate with schools to offer quality training to students.
He commended the school for pioneering private business education in the country adding that it had lived up to expectation and fulfilled its mission and vision of being a centre of excellence in business education.
The MP advised the students to take their lessons seriously and be committed to school rules and regulations.
He cautioned them not to disappoint their parents and work hard to be successful in their endeavours.
Mr Chaie appealed to the school authorities to examine the economic trend of the country so as to structure its programmes to meet the
challenges ahead.
He later donated GH2,000 and a computer and its accessories to the school.
Mr Robert Appiah, Lecturer of the Central University College and an old student of the school, expressed the hope that the school would help satisfy the new changing needs of quality business education.
He advised the students to keep educating themselves in their areas of study to contribute to the socio-economic advancement adding "cultivate a self driving motivation towards the attainment of your goals."
Mr Appiah urged parents not to give up when their children failed to make the grades to pursue higher academic programmes but encourage them to develop their talents.
Mr Charles Ashley, Principal of the School, underscored the importance of business education and urged parents to sacrifice towards their
children's education.
He said the school runs new courses such as taxation, human resource management and business education and urged the students to take advantage
of those opportunities.
