Communities along the Suhum-Dokrochewa feeder road linking Suhum-Asamankese in the Suhum-Kraboa Coaltar District, have appealed to the Department of Feeder Roads and the District Assembly, to reshape the access route.
The communities are, Tetekasum, Godziase, Kwame Kyere and Oboango.
The road is used by farming and fishing communities around river Kua in the Eastern Region, who find it difficult to do business on it due to its undulating and slippery nature.
Mr Mathew Narh, an opinion leader at Dokrochewa, who made the appeal to the Ghana News Agency said past complains had fell on death ears.
The opinion leader noted that attempts by some residents to reshape portions of the road had worsened it.
