The Western Regional branch of the Civil and Local Government Staff Association of Ghana (CLOSAG) on Wednesday elected new executives with Mr. Daniel Quayson, a worker with the Controller and Accountant-General, as the chairman.
The rest are; Mr. Samuel Aaron Biney, an Accountant at the Mpohor Wassa East District Assembly, treasurer, Mr. Abraham Quayson, Wassa West District Social Welfare Officer, Organizer and
Mrs Victoria De-graft Johnson, Chief Executive Officer of the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly, Trustee.
In an acceptance speech, Mr. Quayson, the chairman, urged members of the association to co-operate with the executives to ensure smooth
implementation of programmes and policies.
He said the regional branch has acquired land at Ketan for the construction of an office and hostel complex.
Mr. Quayson said the project would be undertaken to serve as a source of income for the association.
