Nana Agyin Frimpong II, Tafohene, has expressed discomfort with the notoriety of the youth in the community for violence and other criminal acts.
He said this was creating image problems for the area.
Nana Agyin Frimpong expressed the sentiment when he spoke to the Ghana News Agency (in Kumasi.
He said he was deeply troubled by the bad conduct of the young people, particularly those at Tafo Zongo where most hardened criminals in the metropolis are believed to operate from.
Nana Agyin Frimpong called on parents to ensure proper upbringing of their children to help them grow into responsible adults.
“We should all accept to be law-abiding and live in peace and harmony with our neighbours”, he said.
