A 12-story building in a Cairo suburb collapsed early Thursday after a fire broke out in its chemical storage area, burying a group of firemen under debris.
According to state news agency MENA, the fire engine team that is made up of two police officers and five policemen fell down under the rubble when searching for victims.
The building located in Herafien area, east of Cairo, collapsed as firefighters were putting the fire down that erupted earlier in a chemical storing flat.
