A 32-year-old unemployed caught with a quantity of fake road worthy and vehicle insurance stickers, was on Monday put before a Kumasi Circuit Court.
Steven Boakye pleaded not guilty to the charge of possessing forged documents and was admitted to bail in the sum of GH¢10,000.00 with a surety.
He would re-appear on Tuesday, February 22.
Police Chief Inspector Frimpong Manso told the court presided over by Mr Justice D.W.P. Amedior that the police on January 27, received information that some people were issuing fake stickers of the State Insurance Company (SIC) and the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) to some drivers at Dichemso in Kumasi.
He said they quickly moved to the place and succeeded in arresting Boakye.
A search conducted on him uncovered DVLA and SIC insurance stickers concealed in a brown envelop, which later proved to be fake.
The prosecution said the accused admitted the crime in his caution statement.
