Mr Quansah said the Government recognized the important roles health facilities played in the Better Ghana agenda and was working hard to address problems facing them.
He said that was why Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) zones were being established at vantage points nationwide to bring health delivery to the door-steps of the citizenry.
The MP promised that electricity would be extended to the centre before the end of February 2011.
Mr Henry Kweku Hayford, Municipal Chief Executive, said cholera had been reported in some parts of the Municipality and appealed to health workers to intensify education on prevention of diseases.
Ms Georgina Yvonne Graham Hayford, Mfantseman Municipal Director of Health Services, who received the items on behalf of the facility, expressed gratitude to the Second Lady for the donation and assured her that the donation would encourage them to work harder than before to improve health delivery in the Municipality.
