The Benkumhene of the Kwahu Traditional Area, Nana Onini Afari II, has advised the youth to cooperate with their chiefs and elders to mobilize the needed resources for the development of the communities.
He said since the development of any community was the responsibility of its citizenry, there was the need for unity among the people to enable them to initiate meaningful development projects to enhance their living standards.
Nana Afari II who is also the chief of Aduamoah Kwahu, made the call when the newly installed Tufohene for the town, Nana Sefa Asante-Gyimah II, swore the oath of allegiance to him at his palace at Aduamoah Kwahu at the weekend.
He advised the people to support the newly installed Tufohene, who is also the adviser to the chiefs and elders of the town, to enable him to contribute towards the development of the society.
Nana Asante-Gyimah, a 52-year-old Accra based businessman, succeeded his late uncle, Nana Yaw Sefa III, who died a year ago.
He promised to unite the youth, chiefs and elders to promote development in the community.
Nana Gyimah is known in his private life as Charles Asante-Gyimah.
