A Takoradi circuit court on Friday granted GHC 4,000 bail with four sureties to Emmanuel Dadzie and Isaac Kow for allegedly stealing items worth GHC1, 110.
The two pleaded guilty to charges of conspiracy to commit crime, causing unlawful damage and stealing.
Prosecuting, Sergeant Seth Ahelegbe told the court that on February 11 the accused persons damaged the window of one Mr Francis Agbengo’s room who lives at the Takoradi Air Force Base.
They entered the room and made away with some of his personnal belongings.
Sergeant Ahelegbe said when Mr. Agbengo returned from work and detected that his room had been ransacked and items such as travelling bag, wedding ring, half piece of cloth, a wall clock and cash of GHC300 had been stolen.
He said a friend to Mr Agbengo found some of the stolen items in the bush and the rest were found on the accused person.
A report was made to the police and he was arrested.
