Reverend Joseph Ankamah Cromwell, Assistant Minister of the Resurrection Congregation of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, on Sunday urged Christians to be persistent in doing God’s work and desist from mediocrity.
He said Christians should always abide by the word of God and not depend on their will and actions.
Rev Ankamah Cromwell made the call during the Easter Sunday service on the theme: “The Risen Lord,” to acknowledge the resurrection of
Jesus Christ who died to redeem mankind from sin. He emphasized the fact that Mary Magdalene persisted to see the body of Jesus Christ by visiting the tomb and with that persistence was able to give testimony on His resurrection.
He said Christ fulfilled His mission on earth and it behoved on Christians to emulate the perseverance of Mary Magdalene and carry on the work of God.
“Christians must avail themselves to the call of Jesus Christ and receive his blessing to help others to do the will of God”.
