THE ASCENT IS BACK!!

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to get fit in a fun way?!

Try The Ascent this December (7^th) 2019. The Ascent is an Obstacle course race, which takes place several times a year. Offering various routes from 3km -10km with over 40 possible different obstacles, catering to the increasing interest in health and fitness by individuals, groups and corporate bodies across Accra.

An obstacle course requires participants to overcome various physical obstacles by climbing, crawling, running, balancing and more, testing their speed, endurance, strength and dexterity in a fun light-hearted way.

The Ascent team are experts in organising health and fitness events and have successfully organised 6 events since its inception in 2017, seeing hundreds of people increase their fitness level and motivation to workout through these exciting events. The Ascent also offers personalised corporate events that can be set up almost anywhere with proven results as effective team-building and morale boosting activities.

At the end of the year, its only right that fitness is fun. A celebration of another year coming to an end and all the achievements that came with it, including the 3km Ascent Obstacle course!

THE ASCENT BY NIGHT – THIS DECEMBER!!

WHAT TO EXPECT:

The Ascent by Night is an evening run that begins just after sunset and takes participants through 3km of obstacles for a fun workout experience.

The Ascent by Night ends with a foam party, games, challenges and an all round good time!

This event happens exclusively every December to end the year and encourage exercise at this time of year (which is notoriously plagued with parties and indulgence!)

The 2019 edition of The Ascent by Night is on the 7^th December at 5pm. At the Military Academy and Training School (MATS) in Teshie.

The evening begins with a Warm up at 5.30pm, every participants dons some glow in the dark face paint, a head torch and sets off on the 3km route, which has over 20 obstacles.

On completing the obstacle course, the party begins! With DJ FrenchKiss on the decks and foam blazing through the crowds, we dance the night away!

We also have fun challenges and games to keep the fun and energy up…..and to put those endorphins to good use.

Every participant get a medal and top 3 males and top 3 females are rewarded with awesome prizes from our sponsors!

The Ascent team create obstacle courses that are suitable for all ages and fitness levels…you go at your own pace. Anyone over the age of 18 is welcome. There are regularly participants over the age of 60!

This is a unique night out for sport/ fitness enthusiasts, groups of friends, expats, corporate groups and adventure-seekers from all walks of life.
