As part of measures to ensure the successful fight against the CONVID-19 pandemic, Kings Kingdom Charismatic Center (KKCC) has donated items worth GHC3,000 to the Tarkwa District Police Command.
The items include, Veronica buckets, cartons of hand sanitizers, liquid soaps, tissue papers and packs of mineral water.
Speaking at the presentation ceremony, Prophet Seth Kofi Adjei, Senior Pastor of KKCC, Tarkwa, said this was part of the Church widow's mite to help curb the spread of the virus.
Mr Adjei eulogized the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo for the efforts he was making to bring the situation of COVID 19 under control in Ghana.
He appealed to religious and corporate bodies as well as traditional authorities to support the government to protect the citizenry as this was a shared responsibility.
Superintendent of Police Thomas Osei Adabio, Tarkwa District Police Commander who received the items on behalf of the Ghana Police Service, thanked the Church for the goodwill and called on other institutions to emulate KKCC.
