The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced that it will carry out planned maintenance works in parts of the Greater Accra Region on Friday, October 3, 2025.
According to the company, the exercise forms part of ongoing efforts to improve power supply reliability and service delivery to its customers.
The maintenance, scheduled to run from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., will affect residents and businesses in Tuba, Kokrobite, Old Bortianor, Old Aplaku and surrounding communities.
ECG, in a notice issued on Saturday, September 27, 2025, expressed regret over the inconvenience that the exercise may cause but stressed that the works are necessary to enhance the stability of its network.
The company has in recent months intensified maintenance activities across various regions to minimise unplanned outages and improve customer experience.
It has encouraged affected residents to take note of the outage hours and make the necessary arrangements to mitigate any disruptions.
ECG assured the public of its commitment to providing reliable and efficient electricity supply nationwide.
