Ghana will today host a high-level diplomatic engagement as the Vice President of Colombia, Francia Elena Márquez Mina, pays a courtesy call on Vice President Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang at the Jubilee House to advance bilateral cooperation between the two nations.
In a statement signed by the Press Secretary and Spokesperson to the Vice President, Ama Pratt, the visit forms part of ongoing efforts to strengthen Ghana-Colombia relations and deepen collaboration in key areas of mutual interest.
According to the statement, the two Vice Presidents will begin with a closed-door meeting focused on strategic priorities for both countries. They will later move to the Credentials Room for expanded bilateral discussions involving their respective delegations.
The engagements are expected to centre on boosting partnerships in trade, investment, technology, and development cooperation. The talks will also explore opportunities to promote inclusive growth and expand South-South collaboration.
The visit underscores the desire of both nations to build on existing ties and create new avenues for shared progress.
