The Alternative Fashion Fabric Fair (Alt.FFF) has officially opened exhibitor registration for its inaugural edition, inviting fashion textile producers, manufacturers, and material innovators from across Africa and beyond to participate in this groundbreaking Pan-African trade platform.
Scheduled to take place from September 17–19, 2026, at the Palm Convention Centre, La Palm Royal Beach Hotel, Accra, Alt.FFF is a first-of-its-kind trade fair dedicated to the raw, processed, and semi-processed materials that power Africa’s fashion and creative industries.
The Fair will bring together key players across the value chain including fabric producers, fibre processors, leather manufacturers, trim suppliers, designers, buyers, sourcing partners and investors to explore opportunities for collaboration, trade, and innovation.
Speaking on the announcement of exhibitor registration, Makeba Boateng, Founder of Fashion Forum Africa and Lead Curator of Alt.FFF, noted:
“Africa’s fashion industry cannot scale without strengthening its materials and production base. Alt.FFF is designed to spotlight the makers behind the scenes producing the fabrics, fibres, and inputs that truly power the industry. This is an opportunity for them to connect directly with buyers, partners, and new markets.”
Exhibitors will have the opportunity to; Showcase and demonstrate their products to a targeted audience of buyers, designers, and industry stakeholders; Build B2B connections across African and international markets; Gain visibility within a curated platform focused on materials, sustainability, and innovation; Participate in conversations shaping the future of Africa’s textile and fashion value and supply chain.
Alt.FFF also aims to strengthen intra-African trade, encourage local sourcing, and position Africa as a competitive player in the global materials and textile market.

The Fair will feature a curated exhibition of textiles, fabrics, fibres, and accessories; Innovation showcases highlighting sustainable and emerging material solutions; Panel discussions and industry conversations on trade, production, and design; Networking opportunities connecting producers, buyers, and investors.
