The Volta Regional branch of the Ghana Youth For Christ (YFC) would hold a two-day prayer meeting in Ho at the weekend to pray for a peaceful election in December.
Reverend Jerry Hansen Wedanu, Volta Regional Coordinator of YFC who briefed the Ghana News Agency said the current political atmosphere in the country called for prayers to seek God's divine peace for the country before, during and after the elections.
He appealed to churches in the municipality to release their youth groups to take part in the prayer session.
Rev. Wedanu urged Pastors in the country to preach peace and peaceful co-existence to their congregations and wherever they found themselves.
He appealed to Christians to pray without ceasing for the country and its politicians.
