A circuit court at Goaso has sentenced 35-year-old physically challenged person to seven years imprisonment for defiling a 15-year-old junior high school student at Fosukom in the Western region.
Kwaku Frimpong pleaded guilty.
Prosecuting, Chief Inspector James Asamoah told the court that in August 2008 the victim's parents noticed changes in her body and took her to the hospital where it was revealed that she was two months pregnant.
Chief Inspector Asamoah she told her parents that it was the convict was responsible for the pregnancy.
