An unidentified animal has been found in Tamghas, some 205 km west of capital Katmandu, Nepali national news agency RSS reported on Monday.
The wild beast weighing three km and measuring 108 cm in length from head to tail was found in a sick condition in a cowshed of Jag at Pandy, local dweller in Tamghas.
The animal has been kept in the District Forest Office after the locals informed the office about the finding of the never-seen- before animal, said the report.
The animal was yet to be identified; the report quoted the Chief of Forest Office Rajendra Man Singh Bhandari as saying.
According to the report, the Forest Office has invited local elderly persons in a bid to identify the animal. The animal is suffering from an old wound in the navel point, report added.
