Ms. Matilda Atitsogbui, Public Relations Officer of SIFE Ho Polytechnic, told the Ghana News Agency that the group had begun thorough preparations as it prepares to represent the country in this year's international competition in October.
The group won this year's national competition after beating the University of Ghana Legon, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and the Institute of Professional Studies (IPS) in the final competition.
Ms. Atitsogbui said the group was working on comments from the judges and exploring other projects that could help them bring honour to the country.
She attributed the team's successes to team spirit and prayer and was hopeful of making significant impact on the international stage.
Ms Atitsogbui appealed to stakeholders to support the group financially.
SIFE Ho-Poly represented the country in 2006 and 2007 in France and the US respectively and won the "SIFE spirit award" in those two competitions.
The four projects that won the ticket to this year's international competition for SIFE-Ho Polytechnic were, "green life", "new dawn-new hope", "best service man" and cerakente."
