Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai described attack on UN guest house in the capital city Kabul Wednesday that left six international staff members of the world body dead as a coward act and condemned it, a statement released by his office here said.
In the statement, the president besides expressing sadness and sympathy with families of the victims also ordered security authorities to beef up security for international agencies and foil terrorist designs at its earliest.
In the attack on UN guest house this morning for which Taliban claimed responsibility, six
international staff members and some Afghans had been killed.
The afghan capital also experienced rocket attacks hours after the incident as two rockets
fired by insurgents slammed next to Kabul Serena Hotel broken windowpanes.
