Two rockets fired from unknown location slammed next to Kabul's only five-star Kabul Serena Hotel Wednesday morning.
Officials are tightlipped if there were any casualties.
Police also cordoned off the area and did not allow journalists to get access inside the hotel which accommodates high ranking foreign guests and officials.
The fortified Kabul Serena hotel is located next to Presidential Palace, Afghanistan's central
bank and Foreign Ministry.
Attack on Kabul Serena Hotel occurred just a couple of hours after a deadly suicide attack on
UN guest house by Taliban militants, which left six UN staff dead and injured five local employees.
