A plane with members of Italy's Missoni fashion family on board has been declared missing in Venezuela, media reports said Saturday.
The small, twin-engine aircraft was en route to Caracas after departing from Los Roques, an island chain popular with tourists off the coast of Venezuela, when it disappeared, the El Nacional
newspaper reported.
Four of the plane's six passengers were Italian, among them fashion entrepreneur Vittorio Missoni, the son of the founder of the eponymous luxury fashion brand.
Helicopters are conducting a search over the area of Caribbean Sea where the plane was last reported.
