CIMG Telecoms Company of the year, Vodafone Ghana today rewarded over 70 of their top retailers and their families with educational scholarships, branded kiosks and household goods in the first Retailer Loyalty Scheme awards ceremony. The awards scheme, called Vodafone Akyedie, is to recognise and reward street vendors, table top vendors, kiosk and grocery shop sellers of Vodafone top up products for their hard work in supporting the Vodafone brand.
Vodafone Ghana's Akyedie scheme is a loyalty scheme that gives retailers the power to decide what prizes they want using a points system. Each member of their family also received an alcatel phone and GHC 50 cedis worth of credit. Michael Nii Boye Adjei, Commercial Director for Vodafone Ghana remarked 'our retailers play a critical role in the success of our Brand in Ghana - they are the first point of contact for many of our customers and they should be recognised for the role they play.
