The Second Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Mr Alban Sumana Bagbin did well in his home constituency of Nadowli-Kaleo in the Upper West Region by beating John Dramani Mahama in the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer race.
Mr Bagbin beat Mr Mahama by a total of 16 votes in his backyard where he has been the Member of Parliament since 1992.
