U.S. Vice President Joe Biden arrived in Egypt on Sunday as the first leg of his African tour, state-run MENA news agency reported.
Biden will hold talks with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak Monday morning in the Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheikh on the latest developments in the
Middle East and means to end the Gaza Strip siege, said the report.
Biden's talks with Mubarak will also cover other regional and international issues of mutual concern and bilateral relations, added the report.
The U.S. vice president will also visit Kenya and South Africa.
