Accra Hearts of Oak progressed to the finals of the 2017 MTN FA Cup with a 2-1 victory over Wa All Stars at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium, on Sunday.
Hearts relied on the services of West Africa Football Union (WAFU) Cup heroes to achieve the historic feat.
The last time Hearts played in the finals was in the year 2000.
Patrick Razak scored first in the 31st minute to end the first half.
Kwame Kizito increased the tally in the 52 minute for Hearts to secure their slot for the finals.
Hearts were however unable to hold on to the two-goal lead, as Atta Mensah reduced the take in the 68 minute but it was not enough to stop the phobians from cruising to the finals of the competition.
