Mathieu Bastareaud will captain France against Wales in Cardiff after Guilhem Guirado was ruled out with injury.
Guirado will sit out Les Bleus' final Six Nations match with a knee problem, while fullback Hugo Bonneval is also sidelined with a head injury.
That means that vice-captain Bastareaud will lead his country at the Principality Stadium, having only returned to the side against Italy three weeks ago following a ban for a homophobic slur.
Gael Fickou has replaced Bonneval and will line up on the right wing, with Benjamin Fall taking the No. 15 jersey.
Adrien Pélissié takes over from Guirado at hooker, while Cedate Gomes Sa comes into the front row in place of Rabah Slimani, who drops to the bench.
France squad to face Wales:
Fall, Fickou, Bastareaud (captain), Doumayrou, Grosso, Trinh-Duc, Machenaud; Poirot, Pélissié, Gomes Sa, Gabrillagues, Vahaamahina, Lauret, Camara, Tauleigne.
Replacements: Chat, Priso, Slimani, Le Roux, Babillot, Couilloud, Beauxis, Palis.
