Miller (21-0-1, 18 KOs) won a WBA world heavyweight title eliminator on Saturday night, defeating Johann Duhaupas (37-5, 24 KOs) by unanimous decision at Barclays Center.

It wasn't close -- Miller landed 261 punches compared to Duhaupas' 128, and 185 power punches compared to 67. Two judges scored the bout 119-109, the other 117-11.

"[Duhaupas] was a tough, durable fighter," Miller said. "I thought I could get him out of there earlier."

He couldn't, but Miller did prove he could go 12 rounds -- particularly impressive given that he weighed in at a career-high 304.4 pounds. Duhaupas was more than 60 pounds lighter at 244.2.

"My conditioning was good, but my legs were a little bit slow," Miller said.

Miller is now a mandatory challenger for three-belt heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua. And with a deal between Joshua and fellow heavyweight champ Deontay Wilder yet to be made, Miller could be up next for Joshua instead.

"I'm ready for Anthony Joshua," Miller said. "Let's bring him to Brooklyn, show him how we do it."
