Danny Cipriani will get the chance to reignite his England career almost three years after he earned the last of his 14 Test caps.
In-form Wasps fly-half Cipriani, 30, has been included in Eddie Jones' squad ahead of the tour of South Africa and is joined by teammates Dan Robson and Jack Willis.
Brad Shields, who will head to the Ricoh Arena at the end of the Super Rugby season, was released by New Zealand Rugby (NZR) on Thursday and also takes his place in the 34-man party.
In all seven uncapped players have been called up by Jones as Ben Earl, Jonny Hill, Ben Spencer and Cameron Redpath join Robson, Shields and Willis.
In the absence of Dylan Hartley, Owen Farrell will captain the squad in South Africa, while his Saracens teammate Billy Vunipola returns to the setup following injury.
