Foreign based Ghanaian athlete, Abraham Seaneke, has been named the third Lone Star Conference (LSC) Men's Field Athlete of the Week for the third time, after another record-breaking performance.
Seaneke jumped a wind-aided 26-6.25 (8.08m) to win the competition, with the longest mark in any condition in close to three years.
He also broke the school record on his second attempt with a wind legal mark of 25-5.25 (7.75m), to move up to second on the national list and remain undefeated in the event during the outdoor season.
In an interview with the GNA Sports from his base in the United States of America (USA), he said he was delighted and proud to be nominated as the Lone Star Conference (LSC) field athlete of the week for the third time.
Seanake also envisaged representing Ghana at the upcoming African Games in Morocco and the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, when handed the opportunity by athletics governing body in Ghana.
The young athlete is set to make another history as West Texas A and M University travels to compete in the Lone Star Conference Championships from May 2-4 in Portales, N.M.
