Popular Ghanaian boxer Brimah Kamoko, better known as Bukom Banku received a hero’s welcome on his return to the country after winning his first international fight.
Banku was welcomed by hundreds of fans and members of the media upon his arrival at the Kotoka International Airport on Friday.
The 39-year-old won his first fight outside Ghana last Saturday against Rojhat Bilgetekin of Germany. He knocked out his opponent in round three at St George Hall in Bradford, UK.
The victory takes his record to 29 wins out of his 30 professional fights with his only defeat coming at the hands of Bastie Samir in October 2017.
