Asamoah Boateng Afriyie scored the winning goal during added time in the first half to ensure a second straight home loss for the Porcupine Warriors who dropped to the ninth spot on the log, while Nations FC moved into second place just two points off leaders FC Samartex 1996.

Oly rip Aduana apart

Accra Great Olympics returned to winning ways as they tore apart Aduana FC 4-2 at the Accra Sports Stadium to secure their first win in four league matches.

The Wonder Club coasted to a comfortable 3-0 lead in the 35th minute after Isaac Mensah scored the opener in the 19th minute followed by a brace from Albert Amoah in the 28th and 35th minutes respectively. However, Zakaria Mumuni reduced the deficit on the stroke of half-time.

In the 72nd minute, the home side were home and dry as Amoah added to his tally for his first hat-trick of the season before Mumuni scored again for Aduana as Olympics held onto their lead for a comfortable victory.

At the Sunyani Coronation Park, Bofoakwa Tano returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Karela United as Saaka Dauda's sublime header in the 72nd minute ensured a vital win for the home side who remain in the bottom three in the league table.

At Dawu Park, Joseph Mereku scored a 27th-minute spot kick to give Legon Cities a 1-0 win over Nsoatreman FC, while Stephen Amankonah scored a last-gasp equaliser for Berekum Chelsea as they came from behind to draw 1-1 with 10-man Bechem United at the Golden City Park.

Yesterday, Bibiani Goldstars held Heart of Lions 2-2 at the Kpando Stadium, while Real Tamale United defeated Accra Lions FC at the Golden City Park, Berekum.
